Martin Bingisser is a hammer thrower and coach with the Swiss national track and field team. He has worked extensively under Anatoli Bondarchuk, the most successful Olympic throws coach of all time, and writer of fundamental coaching text “Transfer of Training in Sport”.
Martin is also the founder of www.HMMRMedia.com, a fantastic coaching resource bringing together experts from many different sports and disciplines.
In this episode he and I discuss his career as a coach and athlete, the lessons he learned from Dr Bondarchuk, how these lessons can be applied to a team sport like rugby, and how the training process evolves as an athletes ages and accrues experience. If you would like more information about the UK and Ireland seminars Martin is conducting in 2016, visit www.HMMRMedia.com/classroom.
